RA2 Buildings - Aviation Research : Start with a sketch

Before I start modelling any building, or infact any model/scene.. I always like to have a sketch infront of me. This helps visulise what neds to be created. Often my sketches look nothing like the final product, but they are highly valuable in the creation process.

For example, heres a good sketch of a Soviet research facility:

And, more useful for this project the Soviet aviation facility:

It makes 3D modelling much easier with these sketches infront of you. As you will see, I've used characteristics from the sketch in my final building, but have not stayed totally true to the design. Modifications can always be made at a later date.
