My review:

This stunningly simple shipset was one of the racest that enticed me into the world of 3D modelling. The Pyrochette contain clear cut ships with clean curves and moderate detail. Looking back at this shipset I can see several areas that could be improved, but for its purpose as an SE4 fleet its perfect! It looks and 'feels' kinda great.

The production i.e. lighting and camera are well set up and the colour scheme is original.

Production Notes:

The zip file contains some original race portraits and some additional/changed fighter graphics.

Not bad, but about the portrait: Have you ever seen the original Battlestar Galactica movie? Aside from that, I think that the ships are magnificent. I guess my own Imperium should watch out!

The shipset is excellent, like some sort of neo-Cardassian splinter group. However, the portrait is a little creepy. Yes, I have seen the original Battlestar Galactica movie. He's like those girls's uncle or something!

Any chance to get it to be a neo standard?

And very cool, btw!

Nice Cardassian ship look, but I think that whoever plays as this shipset would instantly be declared the Mega Evil Empire, for two reasons: one, their ships kick ass, and two, the portrait is soo creepy I'd have to destroy them to preserve my sanity.

Actually, that race portrait is from Star Control 3, a sub-par game in the usually excellent Star Control series. However, this shipset has always been one of my favorites. Though never been fond of their ground units.
