Colour Strips : Relaxed
The whole
Heading this whole mini-project is the whole. The starting graphic from which I've then take strips out of. Nothing fancy here. Using basic paint tools I coloured in half the screen in different colours, and overlayed several bits and pieces. It looked very messsy.Then, I reduced the colours to 16. Scaled up by 200. Did a Gaussian blur (strength 6), and did the same thing again.

Finally, I reduced the image to a 16 colour palette once final time. The result was a 2800x1200 image, which you can download below.

I encourage you to download this file, and look at it full scale. Really, its just a big blur of colour, but because of its large scale, and smooth curves there are many interesting shapes to be found.
