It's so beautiful! ;D
It looks really, really nice to use as a fortress to adventure in. Problem is: Traps and pressure plates don't work at all. But there's always the goblins adventuring around and dying in horrible, hilarious ways.
Who the hell is Glip? Is she a cheated character? Killing both Morul and Ironblood? What the floody buck?!
@Mechanoid: That's not exactly right.
Traffic designations affect the dwarves' pathing algorithm. It calculates the total "cost" of a way to somewhere. If there's an 80-square way with normal traffic to a pig tail sock the dwarf wants to get, it calculates 80*2 ("traffic cost" of normal traffic)=160 as the total cost.
However, if there are 2 restricted squares in the way, it calculates 78*2+2*25 ("traffic cost" of restricted traffic)=206.
The dwarves will always choose the path with the lowest total traffic cost.
"Additionally, traffic designations cannot be used to restrict where a dwarf will stand when building/digging." (quote from the wiki) And that's exactly what happened here.

Wow, how many different civs are there? Frost Giants, Zephyrs, Dyansari, Vamarian, Jawa, Silver Xelic, THE HELL?
What kind of creature attacked you in this siege?
That's insane! How many magma is there? SERIOUSLY?!
Oh, by the way, deconstruct this door. What's the worst that could happen?
"There is much to discuss."
You bet there is! xD
I love how they still continue going forward, then thinking: "Wait a second..." and then they notice that the other dwarf has the cat. xD
Wait, WHAT? Dwarven Atom Crushers™ are not the ultimate weapon?
Oh, my god, that's just perfect... And they're immune to traps, too. So, you HAVE to fight! I don't really like military, but traps do just fine for megabeasts and sieges, so I'll never, NEVER choose HFS.
Well, maybe I will one day, but not now, not as a noob.
