Yeah, I realized that after it was too late and everything was dug out. I usually build the trade depot a bit higher so there is more room but I decided to try it a little different this time.
No worries though, it will keep dwarves safe from the damn monkeys, ogres, and werewolves and if goblins siege I can just set only military allowed out mode.
This is a test fort, I modded all ranged weapons out. Seems without archers the goblins are laughably easy - the carnage was all done by 3 champion hammerdwarves in steel plate, with no serious wounds at the end.

You can edit it to change the name. I did the exact same thing when I posted my first map. it does not break links when you do it, either.

Thanks, Mport requested not to die in the river, so I'm making sure he does not :p
Side note, I left the unfinished spaces on purpose - the river won't wash dwarves up into them and they can still be used for drinking and fishing.
