Looks very organized, but you still have alot of empty rooms.

btw what is that light brown stuff on lvl 14?

The peat? For some reason, when I found the bottomless pit, it revealed all the peat on the map... No idea way, but idk. Also, the bedrooms should get fixed up soon, was working more on the sewer before I worried about that. A problem I'm having is the lack of wood. Between booze and beds I'm coming up short, so instead of lacking booze, I'm lacking beds. End of year 4 a good bit of housing should be cleaned up.

You put alot of effort into mining and engraving, rarely have I seen such a neat and tidy fort. And yeah, what is the light brown stuff?

The light brown stuff on level 14 is peat. When I discovered the pit, for some reason, it revealed all of the peat and the peat only. I've finally gotten some wood into the fort so dwarf stop complaining about sleeping on the floor...babies.

The water system on level 10 should have been running already but for my lazy mechanics not finishing up the 50 floodgates, which at some point I'll add more of so I can more easily get into the sewers without interrupting water traffic.

Δ 14. Brown Stuff on Level 14
This is Peat. My soil layer. Peat was introduced to me when I first discovered the pit. For some reason Peat felt open enough to reveal everything about himself to me upon this discovery whether for protection or a stronger urge for me to plant my many seeds, but in either case that is what is happening here. - SiliconJesus
Δ 13. Hospital Wing
This floor will be dedicated to the care of hurt dwarfs. Each wing of the floor has a fine copper bucket for each bed should the need arise. For some reason the children in the fort like to linger around in here to no end. - SiliconJesus

Although not yet finished the Mayor seems to be happy enough that he feels the need to continue to ask for Lay Pewter items...knowing fully well we still have none since the last time he wanted some... - SiliconJesus
Δ 12. Military Housing

Each squad of 5 dwarves (axe, hammer, mace, sword) get their own wing grouped by specialty. The squad lead gets the larger room.

The new year should bring more housing items as I switch to furnishing more rooms and flesh out the smoothing of the rest of the fort. The central area will be the military dining.

Δ 11. 8 Dwarf Housing Unit

Each unit comes with 8 bedrooms (4 to a floor) with each bedroom floor having its own dining room with seating for 4.

The 3rd floor (current view) is the common area of the unit. The pantry is stocked with enough booze and meals for each dwarf and is restocked accordingly. The floor also contains a well room should an emergency arise as well as two storage rooms.

On the 4th floor (level 10) there are tombs for each of the residence of the fort. This floor also has access to the water system for maintenance purposes. - SiliconJesus

Here the Captain can oversee the training and keep a close eye on the Artifacts of the fort. As a side note, if anyone knows how to get items out of bins I would love to know how. I forgot to restrict bin use to the custom stockpile and now all the items are in the bins :( I'd rather see what they look like. - SiliconJesus

For the most part, these 4 floors (currently bottom floor) will be the master control for the mechanics of the fort.

These first two levels control the flow of water in the water distribution aqueducts for each house and the barracks. - SiliconJesus
