Liontower has eaten 297 poor bastards.

But the carnage has just begun!

I am Dastot Lisatzon, and I am the ruler of this deathtrap! Long live me an may everyone else puke when they die!

Cage Alley
Cage Alley & Entrance
Dastot Lisatzon's Very Modest Tomb (Top)
His Majesty Liontower
The Execution Platform
The Visage of Death Speeding Towards Your Face

Point of Interest: Sleepysmurf's Burial Chamber

( 213 Mid Summer → 218 Mid Summer )

Written on the plaque of this decorated trifle pewter coffin is the following:

"Uvash Onshenkol, also known as Sleepysmurf, survived a sneak goblin ambush by casually walking to the top of the Eastern Ramp under construction at the time, and taking a snooze as carnage erupted down below. He woke up several days later after a mason screamed at him to get out of the way for the placement of a wall section.

For his wonderful calmness in dealing with a dire situation, Sleepysmurf has been awarded with a personal burial chamber, a trifle pewter coffin, and two alunite statues. Sleep a while, now sleep forever."

The last part has been concealed under a sort of masking tape, indicating the aforementioned Uvash Onshenkol is still alive at the moment. - Shurikane

wow... that is a tall, tall drop tower. At first I didn't notice the missing 30 floors, Thanks for saving us on that monotony.
Also what are those things at the top of "Cage Alley"?

Thirty layers of missing tower... you get to the top and it suddenly feels very very tall :) now where I have I read about that before...

Sorry for the double posting, but i was wondering something.
Can you traumatize your citizens, say a kid, by placing them beneath the sacrificial drop? Shaping their mental (well)being as it were?

Dakira: You're referring to the white things at each end? They're 1x2 drawbridges, which all raise towards the inside of the corridor.

This way, while the dorfs collect and replace cages from one, they are safe while the invaders go into another, freshly opened corridor.
