The thought-to-be-safe fortress of Berilral, a couple of weeks after a brutal giant bat attack. The giant bat in question managed to slaughter a horrendous amount of the unprepared dwarves (including a few custom named ones) before being choked by one of my fresh recruits. The population of the fortress dropped by almost one fourth as the result of the dreaded bat's constant guarilla warfare. At this point I had had enough of the seemingly invulnerable bugger and in desperation drafted all my dwarves, telling them to pile up on the terrifying creature, hoping the bearded mass would at least manage to kill it from over-extertion if from nothing else.
The results: 1 for dwarves, more than a dozen for the giant bat.

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
