Another season, another human siege. Apparently they're REALLY pissed off at me for putting their crippled guild rep out of his berserk misery.
They apparently didn't have much resolve, though, as when I lowered my gates (after putting in a row of serrated disc traps), they refused to enter. They managed to injure one of the wardogs chained up by the entrance, but other than that, they were entirely ineffective, and fled after two of their number fell, alongside three horses.
After it turned out that the humans didn't want to blindly charge into my fort, I stationed some marksdwarves up here. The results were quite pleasant, with them peppering shots down into the mass with no return fire from the opposing archers. - NEO|Phyte
