My first fortress where things are actually working fairly well.
this is really my pride and joy of this map, an aquaduct used to fill my moat and wash enemies into it or drowned them. currently its not full because when all the pumps are going and the water is falling and flowing it slows my compy down crazy. i wait for a seige before i turn it on. - sneb84
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

You can download the compressed map file:
2008-10/sneb84-Perplexedcrafts-region5-206-6976.fdf-map
but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.

You know, you can "hide" engravings through the [d]esignations menu mate. replaces them with a wall-like symbol. much easier to see... everything.

I find all that flooding rather... worrying...

thanks for the advice sneakypete i will be sure to do that. and with the flooding at first it bothered me but since it never stops raining nothing ever evaporates. sooo if something gets wet is stays wet.. forever. so alot of the water you see shouldnt be there. the mountain to the south where the water tower is is covered in water that leaked out of the tower so it looks prety bad but its actually pretty safe. no flooding accidents yet!
