In the year 308, A group of seven Dwarves from the nation of Zast Dakas, lead by Zon Nakuthustuth settled in the mountains far to the east of the main empire. They named the new settlement "Nomalstukón" after their Queen, Nomal Absamoddom.
Two years later, they seemed to have settled in quite nicely. They received only one wave of immigrants. They also have a stone wall built, that's in the process of becoming a full fledged castle. The main diet consists of fish and mussels from the southern brook, with the occasional raccoon that wonders in. In terms of resources, we have lots and lots of iron (Hematite, Magnetite, and Limonite), but no flux stone in sight.
Only one goblin snatcher had been sighted (by a marmot) but luckily the outer gate was closed at the time and there are no children to take.
To do:
*Build castle - finish the roof and build 2nd floor.
*Move workshops from the castle site to inside.
*Find a safe way to fish from the underground river.
*Build a pumping system for the possibility of an underground farm and a flood defense.
( 310 → onwards )
At the end of the hall, is the sheriff's office, which in turn lead to the Sheriff's private quarters and a the prison cells.
Each jail cell consists of an iron chain in a magnetite (iron) room behind some iron bars and a heavy iron door. Oh the irony. - Klokjammer

"Oh the irony."
Very funny :P
I actually thought, "How is that ironic?" for a minute, until I eventually realised.

A very dwarvish home. I love how the fortress keeps building around the cave river.
Keep it going!
