One year on, there have been a couple of deaths, but a lot more immigrants arrived to make up for silliness with health care not working.
Nothing much to say. The river froze over again, right on time, and a few rhesus macaques took the opportunity to practice theft.
They still need a lot of practice. I probably shouldn't store all the finished goods on the surface, but I don't have a better place for them yet.
Oh, and we now have a Rock Salt Piccolo, "Cloutbored". The name could do with a little work.
So it turns out that, during worldgen, a Dragon managed to gain some worshippers. I haven't done as much art-like stuff recently as I'd have liked, so... I vowed to make a start by doing something with this fortress and a lot of rock.
It's turning out like Monster Hunter diagrams, but if I really want it to look like those, I need to tweak the head. If I find more coloured rocks than yellow and white, I'll start adding details, too. - Maisoul
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

to convert to the .PNG image format.

Uhh... no.
Not intentionally, anyway. I only noticed it was formed in that pattern after it was dug out. It's not actually oriented in the same direction as that symbol, making it something sorta-different... but that was just luck, really.
The Nazi movement stole their symbol from Sanskrit. Also, did you know there's a place in Ontario named 'Swastika'? Hei- uh... yay, Wikipedia.
