Point of Interest: Killings

Many dwarves were slaughtered while hauling lumber when a goblin bowman squad attacked. The legendrary carpenter/woodcutter died, as well as 6 normal masons and two crossbowmen. Fortunately, the soldiers managed to rescue the soldier's first baby from the slaughter. - Fox-Of-Doom

So is that a magma moat you're making, or just water? And is that obsidian? Either way, that castle will be epic when you're done.

The riverbed tombs are a sweet touch too.

Δ 22. Guard Tower
This is the first guard tower to be completed and have a masterpiece native aluminum statue on top. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 15. Killings

Δ 15. Wood Fields
This area will allow for wood to be chopped without danger. It will also finish blocking the area in which the dwarves mill around so that they are not killed. (three of the seven goblin squads that have attacked so far were ranged.) - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 14. The River
This river is the burial place for all of the dwarves. So far, 15 dwarves rest here. When all of the nooks are filled with dead dwarves, the river will be allowed to flow again. Hopefully this will take years. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 9. The Quarry
Here are the faciliations for all of my masons. Each workshop has a mason assigned to it for making blocks, the two lower workshops are for the two legendrary masons to make statues, and there is a private room for aluminum statues. Right now, all of the workshops (except for the two legendrary workshops) are suspended as the fortress has over 400 obsidian blocks. - Fox-Of-Doom
