So is that a magma moat you're making, or just water? And is that obsidian? Either way, that castle will be epic when you're done.

The riverbed tombs are a sweet touch too.

Δ 15. Main Entrance
Although temporary and weak, this will provide the fortress with necessary defense against goblin squads. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 15. Masonry Workshops
This fortress will require many obsidian blocks, and all haulers are trained up as masons to produce blocks. (Also so that they become somthing useful after a mood.) - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 15. The River
Even though most of the carp died from bolts, the rest suffocated. Although I have no reason to keep the water back, I do not feel that I need to release it. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 15. The Wall
Although the wall WAS completed, I am deconstructing parts of it so that there is no longer mud. Although this is dangerous to masons, most of them are expendable. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 14. The Forge
Later, this area will be mined out and used for magma. If necessary, magma will be used on the above floor as well. - Fox-Of-Doom
Δ 9. The Quarry
This is the obsidian quarry that is being used to make blocks. The legendrary mason has his workshop here as to make his job easier. Further up, I have found a vein of hematite. - Fox-Of-Doom
