Map Description:

I just enabled migrants, everything you see here was done with 12 dwarves over 2 years. I'm particularly happy with the whitestone keep at the top of the hill.

Point of Interest: Weregecko Victims

In the dramatic tussle between a violent weregecko and some migrants, the fighting fell into this pond. We killed the gecko but these two were lost. - Salmeuk

¶ 137. Chalk-block Keep
A bit barebones for now. A lone apple tree sits in the courtyard, which is protected by an iron drawbridge. Underneath the tree sits a chalk statue of the god of warfare. My military is burrowed here, and so I needed to construct both dining and recreational facilities. I also have a wood furnace, a carpenters shop, and a craftshop for when I finally have a woodcarver. - Salmeuk

I want to build some cliffside farms to the right, haven't quite figured out how to best terraform the soil though. - Salmeuk
Δ 133. Food Production
Not much to say, things are simple with so few dwarves. I have a small population of semi-wild giant hamsters I'm trying to breed in the northwestern room. - Salmeuk
Δ 131. Eastern Bridge
This bridge and the few nearby rooms were the start of this fortress. I plan to build a second keep here. A small tunnel can be seen near the cliffs to the south, which I have filled with cage traps as animals like to use it as a shortcut. - Salmeuk

Carved from a magnetite deposit, I built a small temple devoted to the god of metals. - Salmeuk
Δ 129. Dining Floor
The plain dining hall is in the center, with some food stockpiles on the left side. The bedrooms ring the cliffs, and continue on up for about 3 z-levels. - Salmeuk

You can see the glassmaker's shop, the forges, the bar stockpiles, the masonry, and the trade depot. - Salmeuk
