This fort was intended to be a great museum of natural history.
It has several exhibits showing different geological and biological points of interest.
This exhibit is intended to let the visitors see the local geological stratigraphy. It consists of a large rock pillar carved from a small hill.
The stratigraphy is as follows (from top to bottom):
1. Jet
2. Granite
3. Gabbro
