This fortress uses as few up/down stairs as possible and has multi-level rooms and hallways. Carved inside a massive mountain. Workshops split into four sectors that are divided by hallways with bedrooms.
(Export not fully successful because of a tileset, creatures look weird. Everything else should be fine.)
Here's the centre of the fort. On the western side is the dining hall and the upper class quarters, inhabited by administrators, nobles and artifact crafters.
The food and organic crafts sectors are to the south. To the north are the masonry and metalcrafting sectors. To the east are the carpentry and special (soap, glass, potash etc.) sectors.
Common bedrooms in the hallways and above the dining hall. - Daniel
