Syrupurns is my current fortress, which I am narrating as I go. At the moment, the narration is in the form of correspondence to the mountainhome, written by Reg Labormurder, the expedition leader and current mayor of Syrupurns.
The thread can be found here.
In this chamber is imprisoned Nagnod Mountainpulp the Granite Crystalline Iron, master of the Scoured Spider, the goblin civilization that has been laying siege to Syrupurns. He was captured with no small difficulty - while he was held in place in the trap corridor near the surface (having been walled in), this trap was excavated.
The individual chambers were separated by doors, which Nagnod easily crushed as he swept through the tunnel. However, the two bridges were raised, removing any route for him to escape. The twin pits that were covered with bridges are 3 z-levels deep, and sealed with constructed walls at their bottom.
It is here that Nagnod will reside, until the dwarves of Syrupurns have a use for him. - fidelcowstro
The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.
There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check
the
Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help
me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error
in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is
outside the bounds of the DataView
. Feel free to
report a problem
with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

You can download the compressed map file:

but you will need the .NET version of
SL's DF Map Compressor
to convert to the .PNG image format.
