Bloodaxe - 225 Early Spring by Itnetlolor

Map Description:

We're finally started on this glorious map. Yes, we're building another airship. But think of it this way, I'm doing with this project, what I wish I could have done with the Bloodfist, and... What do we have here? Is that the Bloodfist dropping off our embark party? Looks like Lucca is giving Balthier another chance, and lending him the very info-crystal needed to deliver all these updates via maps and posts. Stay tuned for more.

(And yes, it took a crap-ton of work to get this all done, but it's damn worth it to see the ship as it's designed to work.)

And now back to our regularly scheduled update.

My good friend Lucca. Err-- Pirate-Queen Lucca:

As you were lending me the Infocrystal to update you on our reports later on, I seem to have accidentally *flashed* the region into it's memory chamber in that instant, so I may have gotten the Bloodfist in the image, along with the crew and our family as you were dropping us off, and giving me orders and the plans. Sorry about that, but it does make for an interesting scene, and a good lasting memory for us all to reflect on later down the line, before we ravage this land like the last place. Let us bask in it's glory before it is stripped bare, and probably torn asunder, if we were to repeat history, that is.

I suppose, as there's not much else to report on this crystal, I guess I can use this opportunity to point out my comments to your completion of our ship. I mean, why not?

Point of Interest: 4- Deck III's Bustling Activity

I am surprised that with all the cargo you are supplied with, you couldn't spare us a little bit more for our initialization phase. Oh well, I guess for that many mouths to feed, I wouldn't blame you. Looks like everyone's having a ball celebrating the start of another "luxury liner" of the skies. If I remember seeing your model correctly, they're in for a big surprise (no pun intended).

Oh yeah, and what's with your pilot? He flies like a madman, making this thing fly across the skies in a way I have never seen any boat sail the seas. I swear, from outside, it's like watching a kid's toy top spin. To think, that's a maneuver he discussed with the engineers to give them a good shot at targets. Some of the boats you guys passed didn't know what hit them, or how such a boat can move like that in the sky.

"The Red of Barrens" seems appropriate of a nickname to give him. That leather helm he wears all the time too, it's absurd, but suits him well. Although, it's strange that sometimes he babbles about seeing a flying dog trying to shoot him out of the sky with a tiny red house as his ship. Maybe he shouldn't drink and fly. - Itnetlolor

Δ 70. 7- Military Gathering
I suppose, as a contingency plan, in case we repeat history, and lose our project, like the many times beforehand (read the data logs in the ship); you're training a legion of troops and having the commander give them a good rundown of how to tackle things, just in case the worst happens?

Good idea; because the legion I worked with was just a conscripted force. Give these guys all the time you need. I'll try not to fail horribly, as to have you lose more lives to another airship. Our casualties for the Bloodfist are grim enough with 350+. I don't want that weight on my soul again.

Seems not much else is going on up here; besides having more than enough ammo to collapse a goblin tower from percussion alone.

I guess it looks like our philosopher is crunching numbers with our manager as to future business. Not really much else going on there, since most of the focus of control is below a couple decks (gotta keep a safe distance from the land, right?). - Itnetlolor

It seems the kids are saying their farewells to us. Oh, and it looks like the Broker is doing a good job working with our future contacts where shipping supplies are concerned.

...I wonder what those guys did that deserve having them tied to the bowsprit of the ship? Informants of our king? Or a past raid? Whatever the case, that's pretty mean to do that to one of them especially, since they're deathly afraid of heights. - Itnetlolor

I was surprised to see such armaments stored in the ship, and yet still supply so much room for additional crew. Nice to see all the siege engineers keeping a keen eye on everything as you deployed us. - Itnetlolor

Seems like the kids are having fun with the animals while your broker is working with the merchants upstairs to give them a good lay of the land. I hope you help us out a great deal with that silver tongue of yours.

Also looks like some of your crew are learning the ways of trade as well; that or the fisherman lost a bet about using the water fetch as a fishing line to catch a bigger fish. - Itnetlolor

My apologies, good friend, for wasting some valuable data space on that cryst, but as I grabbed it, it must've activated like a hair-trigger.

I am rather impressed that you have such an escort with you to see us out. Can't be too careful about these Outlands, especially since you stole the ship right out from under our King's nose post-debriefing, and modification to the ship. - Itnetlolor
