Map Description:

Old DF 31.25 fort, last autosave before save corruption hit. Also my first fort.

Point of Interest: Entrance & main level

Entrance to the fort. Lava moat with a steel drawbridge, followed by a long corridor full of cage traps. Very effective.
A goblin siege finished just before this autosave, and as you can see, dorfs are a bit busy hauling intact equipment into our storages and goblin pieces into the corpse pile.
The main level itself is somewhat cramped and poorly designed, but it does its job. - epeli

Location for a flood-the-world-with-magma doomsday device. Would be located here if the save for this fortress wouldn't always get corrupted. Built it several times, never got the chance to test it. - epeli

Pretty much everything is controlled from here. All the jobless dorfs idle around here, if they aren't busy drinking/eating/sleeping. - epeli

What would a dwarf fortress be without a mass of graves?
All interesting visitors such as forgotten beasts and demons have their own memorial plaques.

Δ 173. Power generator & well
This hilariously colourful power generator assembly provides the energy needed to keep our 150-level high magma pump stack running.
A monumental achievement in dorf engineering, it actually generates power by moving the otherwise stagnant well water around in circles! - epeli
Δ 172. Underground farms
I originally envisioned that I would need more farming space to keep up with the food & booze production for a larger dorf community, thus these rooms with irrigation system and water drainage grates were built. I ended up using them as tree farms. - epeli

Workshops, mainly masonry, with materials sorted by color. - epeli
Δ 171. Magma Industry
Industrial area with glass/ceramic production, metalsmithing, steel production and ore smelting rooms. Powered by magma pumped up from over 150 levels below.
Bar & ore storage rooms are right next to it. - epeli
Δ 119. Second cavern layer
Second cavern layer, opened up for deep underground storage space and woodcutting after careful exploratory mining.
All the map edges are actually barred due to an unfortunate accident with a forgotten beast. - epeli
Δ 19. Bottom of the pump stack
Largest pump stack I've ever built - pumping magma from level 18 to 173!

(It actually went even higher in a form of an emergency flood-the-mountaintops-with-magma doomsday device, but that save got corrupted.) - epeli
