Map Description:

The second year of my lakeside mountain fortress, Tounguebusts. Current projects include flooding the dining hall, moving out from the temporary fortress, and taking care of the goblin ambushes that prevent out access to the outside world.

Point of Interest: Temporary Fortress

This is where my dwarves first ate, crafted and slept. Right now it still serves as a farm and crafting/storage. I plan to move those workshops to my main fortress, after which this will become my military barracks. - Salmeuk

My large and yet to be finished dining hall. It's functional but not yet smoothed. The surrounding channel will be filled with lakewater. - Salmeuk
Δ 46. Lakeside Rooms
My dwarves all live in lakeside 3x3 rooms. I plan to add windows, and a third level where the nobles will live. - Salmeuk
Δ 46. Metal Ore
I discovered a vein of hematite which I quickly mined out and transported within my walls. I now have a supply of metal ore with which to craft weapons, ammo, and help finish strange moods. - Salmeuk
Δ 46. Temporary Fortress

Δ 45. Kitchens
My newly made kitchens and food storage. Below is empty barrel storage. Booze on top and food on bottom. - Salmeuk
Δ 44. Farms
I have added a hatch that will drop water from the dining hall channel to this room, which I will turn into my farms. The water left over from creating the mud will drain into the large room underneath. - Salmeuk
Δ 44. Rock Compacter
This is where all my dwarves have been dropping stone. I drop the bridge and destroy the rock. - Salmeuk
