The final version of Firethrone. Is it done? Nope. Missing the courtyard glass ceilings, magma workshops, and the center column waterfall-mist features. Unfortunately, the magma wouldn't flow fast enough and I gave up.
In order to accomodate the Trade Depot, the staircases needed to be staggered here. From here down, the 4 stairwells provide a main mode of travel for all dwarves. The stairweels would have had plenty of mist around them if the waterfall feature was operation (each of the 3x4 rooms around this would be screw pumps that carry all through this column of the fortress.
The north, west, south, and east stairs are a simpler affair for secondary travel. Doubtless, dwarves would be using these often as well, and that's why they would be lit from bottom to top courtesy of glass floors all throughout. Go ahead, go up and down on the z-level! You'll see there's a 3x3 section left unblocked all the way through! - erdtirdmans

The slow crawl of magma flow and a tantrum spiral have severely delayed things, but i'll be sure to post an updated map when it's ready.
(over 200 coffins at the moment... i officially have more dead dwarves than live ones!)
