  I need to remember to collect this guys corpse, the siege only just left. - Drone
• Δ 38. Changed kitchen 1
  I knocked these two rooms together, put the presses and querns in it and then put 4 stills in it, for more brewing power. Although they aren't as close to the supplies it *does* mean I can get 4 dwarves brewing at once instead of the one or two I had previously. - Drone

  New housing was built all around the fortress, this is just one example of it. I'm running out of space thats close enough to my fortress to be useful, so I've been chaging a lot of stuff this year. - Drone

  I put the farmers workshops down here next to the kitchen since quarry bush leaves and dwarven flour and the like are only used by the kitchens anyway. - Drone
• Δ 37. Memorial Statue Garden
  Contains 7 exceptional and masterwork iron statues, some of which are actually of fortress events, while others are just of forgotten beasts and cheese. The gem window there (it's no miasma) is made of all kinds of stuff, including steel, multiple jems, marble, raw magnetite and so forth. As such, it's worth 150,000 dwarfbux and incidently shows the founding of the fortress and the election of it's first leader. Who I forget. - Drone
• Δ 37. New Barracks
  I move it over here so it's a bit closer to the front gates. My archers would run outside and be the first ones there and would draw all the agro, while my hammerdwarves eventually turned up later. Which was bad. - Drone
• Δ 37. New Crafts storage building
  Next to the trade depot so dwarves aren't running everywhere all the time. It also freed up the large old craft storage room to be turned into a barracks. Which I did. - Drone
• Δ 37. Shiny new hospital!
  This one should keep dwarf movement to a minimum and has more space for dwarves. After the siege this year I had numerous dwarves with broken wrists and suchlike and there was barely space for them in the old hospital - Drone
• Δ 36. Waterworks
  As you can see, I'm draining the lake. This is to do two things:
  1. Make it deeper so that dwarves can drink the water from it without complaining about mucky water. This will *also* mean that dwarves are less likely to get infections from being cleaned with this water.
  2. I can stick in some supports into the lakebed and build some stuff on top of the lake (and in it) for extra space and awesomeness points.
  
  Once thats done I can refill the lake from the brook source thats at the top of the shaft above this section. - Drone
• Δ 22. More friends!
  Three forgetten beasts, a giant hairy turtle that breathes poison gas, a giant iguana with a stinger covered in feathers or something, and I think a giant horse composed of vomit with a noxious extract or something. At any rate, none of them can fly so I'm going to dig out a gallery above them and give my marksdwarves some practice, since I don't want to get my dwarves infected with forgetton beast extract. - Drone
