**SPOILERS**
In the heart of a vast haunted desert, where the earth has opened up like a festering boil to expose the underworld, the warrior monks of the Temple of Death tend to the necropolis they wrested from hell.
The abbot of the Temple of Death (who considers himself the equal of any duke) uses this room to greet emissaries and diplomats. It is also used as a bunker in times of emergency; civilians gather here to be sealed off from the rest of the world by a series of stone bridges. The level below contains enough food and drink to provide years of sustenance. - _nil_
