Point of Interest: Wells and Reservoir

Pumps fill this during the summer. It is a massive amount of water (lesson learned), takes over a single year to fill, since most of the year the river is completely frozen (and even when it thaws, the mountain biome still freezes it at the channel). Wells at the top allow for a lot of dwarves drinking or for other uses. - SergiusMaximus

Δ 52. Entrance
This is the main entrance. It's made of a "castle"-like structure entirely cut from rock (rock-cut architecture). It's nowhere as detailed as Petra or anything but that was the general idea I was aiming for. There are niches where statues can be placed and admired. - SergiusMaximus

Δ 51. Entranceway and Crafts
These are temporary alcoves where the main crafts are located (food processing at the bottom, wood and ores in the alcoves all the way up, with workshops, etc). Once the dwarves migrate further underground, these will get abandoned or designated as visitor areas and/or trap gauntlets.

Δ 51. Outer Hall
The initial Main Hall, before the dwarves begin digging deeper underground. It's right next to the entrance and not very protected. It's been dug up all the way to the surface, the idea is to have constructed ceiling covering it, and prevent dwarves from getting cave adaptation. There's also a well, with a natural rock ceiling to prevent freezing. Later, I realized this small reservoir didn't last more than a few hours once dwarves started "bringing water" to the dozens of captured units :/

Δ 45. Ballista Extreme Sports Corridor
Well, this is lifted wholesale from another fortress. The way the ballistas themselves are located so the whole corridor is covered. Note the fortifications protruding from the walls: these are meant to keep guests in the middle general area of the tunnel, otherwise everyone ends up hugging the north wall. - SergiusMaximus
Δ 45. Inner Hall
Under construction, this is meant to replace the outer hall. It also has a really high ceiling, that will be later carved out and rebuilt out of glass to prevent cave adaptation. The big block in the middle is temporary, until I decide what kind of architecture I'm going to put there (since a manually refilled well ended up being useless). - SergiusMaximus
