I seem to have missed an update. However not much Happened in the summer so I will combine Spring and summer updates here.
On the 18th of slate Migrants arrived. They brought with them the largest werewolf we have seen.
The immigrant marksdwarf, Såkzul, chased her off into the hills to the north protecting the rest of the migrants long enough for my lumberjacks to arrive.
The first dwarf to arrive to exterminate him, Feb the Mechanic/Woodcutter, forgot to equip both gauntlets. As a result when the werewolf pounced he managed to bite off her right hand. Feb managed to bruise the werewolf mightily before she passed out from the pain.
The second werewolf exterminator to arrive was Zon the Woodcutter. Approaching from behind he beheaded the werewolf from surprise.
Feb has been stiched up, requiring 68 stiches, 40 in her right wrist, 16 in her right shoulder, and 12 in her right cheek. Her shoulder has been pushed back inside hers skin and set properly, and she was all cleaned up. She has since returned to duty, and measures have been taken to ensure all dwarves equip both gauntlets and both boots before engaging in battle. - Chthon

It would be fun to know that dwarves that get bitten and survive would turn into werewolves themselves too, but I guess that'll have to come later with disease and magic.
