A few things happened during the winter. We had another run in with a werewolf, and we found a subteranean cave inhabited by a troll and a civilization of antmen. Tunnelling progress has been halted for now while the dwarves dig out a more permanent residence.
Vucar the Woodcutter killed a werewolf here after hacking off both of its legs and then cutting him in two. He's really become proficient in slaying the beasts.
His two woodcutter prodigies did not make it in time to help but they did watch and cheer him on afterwards.
They were wearing completely iron armor minus the boots as those weren't done yet. Now the sets are complete and they have little fear for the beasts. The butcher however who was being chased though had much fear and wishes he had stayed inside. - Chthon

I'm running a Let's Play of this on here and in the channel LetsplayDF. Please feel free to drop on by and leave requests. If I'm on I'll be happy to try to grant them. If not then hopefully I'll see them when I get back.

Good to know werewolves can be defeated...

It would be fun to know that dwarves that get bitten and survive would turn into werewolves themselves too, but I guess that'll have to come later with disease and magic.
