Frozenhalls - 114 Early Autumn by Retro

Map Description:

More designations. Done everything but the castle now (ignoring interiors; doing all those once primary carving is done with). Going to spot some POIs for this one.

ed- A few random blocks of ice seem to be hanging around, I think they're "channel" designations that got caught on the wrong end of the flash. Also I'm noticing that for a fort that I haven't actually done anything yet, technically speaking, I sure have a lot of map uploads.

Point of Interest: Depot plateau

The smallest and highest plateau. At the top of a winding albeit short pathway. I think 'winding pathway' is becoming something of a trademark; let's just run with it. - Retro

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.

There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check the Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to report a problem with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Δ 111. Bell tower
Complete with bell! bonggggg

This one was rather simple to do, but it adds a nice effect. - Retro
Δ 87. Castle tower
An extension of the castle; this tower will probably hold most official work like management and record keeping. - Retro

It's really hard to get a good view of this without everything being dug out, but you can sort of get an idea from this view... - Retro

Δ 43. The grand cathedral
This was a paaaaain to designate, but I think I've got the whole exterior looking pretty cathedral-like. Giving it a full look from the top, side, and front gives a better impression of what I was up to here. - Retro
¶ 41. The village
Centered around this courtyard, the village consists of 13 houses, each with at least two floors and each serving as home to at least two families. Which gives living space to I think around 60 dwarves.

The castle outline is also visible here, though I haven't done any work on it yet, as is the wizard tower and part of the bell tower. - Retro
Δ 39. Archway entrance
The squares you see are the bases for large arches. Side/front view to see the effect. In the center is going to be a large pit, full of probably magma. Fuck convection. - Retro
