Axeskin - 318 Early Spring by Goinstadi

Map Description:

My second attempt at a Circular based Fortress. The first one had a bug and would not allow plants or animals to grow outside of farms. It's still in progress and I'm running out of Obsidian, so I think it's time to set up a farm.

Point of Interest: Entry Way

The entry road to Axeskin, 5 wide, paved with Obsidian and hemmed in with Green Glass Statues atop Green Glass Pillars. The King likes it so much that he's on his way as soon as I send in enough Tribute. - Goinstadi

Δ 30. Bedroom Tower
This is the Current top of the Bedroom Tower. These small rooms may extend up another level or two, they're made out of Green Glass. As you go down you see out primary Booze storage area, then 5 levels of decent housing followed by 2 layers of compact housing. It should provide enough rooms for every type of dwarf possible. - Goinstadi
Δ 30. Philosopher's Tower
This is the start of the Philosopher's Tower. It will extend 20+ z-levels up, 5 in Obsidian, 5 in Alunite, 5 in Green Glass, 2 in Clear and then capped by a Clear glass Spike.

Once finished it will give him an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. - Goinstadi
Δ 30. Workshop Tower
This is the Primary Tower for Workshops. I'm in the process of changing out Obsidian Blocks for Green Glass, so it's a bit disorganized right now.

I plan to extend the Tower up 5 levels above the last bit of natural ground and make it all out of Alunite and in the style of the other, lower towers. - Goinstadi

Δ 28. Barracks and Training Tower
This is the Barracks level. It's open to catch thieves and to keep offensive groups from getting any further. Down below is the training level for my Reserves and below that are various storage levels. - Goinstadi
Δ 27. Dinning Hall
The dining Hall is 3 levels with internal storage for Alcohol and Food using take Stockpiles - Goinstadi
Δ 25. Noble Tower
The Nobles have their very own tower and Lake area, nice and removed from the fortress proper.

This is the Duke's Suite, next level down is the Dungeon Master's. He will be getting his own personal Tower over the Volcano once I get around to it. After that it's the Duchess Suite with the Tax Collector's Office, then the Hammer and Tax Collector's Suites.

The King and Queen's Suites I plan to build up above in Glass. - Goinstadi
