Continued from the previous map. A new large construction is going on underground. Also I need to build that outer wall now

Point of Interest: King's Throne Room

This should have been the king's throne room. But the project has been abandoned due to FPS reasons. I did try to reclaim with the hope that FPS would be better, but its not. Also that let loose the sealed off demons. To say the least the dwarves of the reclaim were not very happy. Battleheart should be better in hopefully, and I should be able to see that project to completion. The insistence on all masterpiece furniture was surely the downfall of this project. That and hundreds of useless dwarves - ricemastah

I want everything in the fort to be a masterpiece. In some sense that sort of includes engravings. Right now they are all exceptional and master piece. Should I construct over all of the non-masterpiece engravings and then re-engrave them? It would be ridiculous and worthy of the game. But at the same time would be extremely time-consuming because with 200+ dwarves my fps is extremely low. I am unsure of how to proceed at this point. Any ideas guys?

Yikes, the throne room... x.x its as big as half my forts.

Engrave EVERYTHING in the fort and then you will have a masterpiece. Line the halls with master piece golden statues decorated with goblin king bone, fill the water with melted silver and have silver water. And then, submerge the whole thing in lava and seal it off to never see the light of day again.

Δ 15. Wyverns!!
Well on the bright side I know my modded little terrors really do exist. Also they are quite capable of killing off my dwarves. That's good cause I have way too many of them.

On the not so bright side I have more then 20 of them running amok and my outer wall hasn't been constructed yet. So I'm sensing a lot of bloodshed - ricemastah
¶ 11. Terror!!
I modded in wyverns, which are essentially really small dragons. Only I made them size 15 and gave them a damblock of 10. Somehow a few got inside. There are a bunch more outside as well. It really does not look good right now. - ricemastah
Δ 7. Duchess' Quaters
This was the planned area for the housing of my duchess and her consort. But as you can see a little thing HFS got in the way. Course now I'm just gonna build around it. Hope they like their rooms, they've got ... friendly neighbors. - ricemastah
15. Home of the Masters

This is the entrance to the home of the masters of my fort. Which would be all the really important legendary crafters and such. It will also be housing their families, and they will be rooming near one another it will take a little management but I think it will be worth it to design mini-mansions for my deserving little dwarves. - ricemastah

This is the entry way. Not grand enough yet, but with the engraving all done I will need to spiff it up by building outside things. I figure a wall and some towers should be good. - ricemastah

The soon to be queen's throne room. Construction on the bedroom and dining room are still under planning. King's Quarter's are yet to be designed as are the Duke and Duchess' quarters. - ricemastah

My legendary dining hall. Every fort needs at least one, so here is one of them. I don't really like the color of orthoclase and schist. So I am gonna make another dining hall somewhere the stone is a tad bit more agreeable - ricemastah

11. Home of the 1st Master

( 1018 Early Spring to 1019 Mid Spring )
This is the entry hall for the home of two of my starting seven. Melbil was the first mayor so I decided to name him the first master, and his wife is another of the starting seven. I think they have four kids. Anyway I have designed a statue garden for them on the lower level but I still need to make their bedrooms and a small dining room for them all. - ricemastah
