Map Description:

Bodiceblown is the fortress of cloth. While as of this year the sub industries are on equal footing, eventually everything will be expanded to focus on pig tails, rope reeds, and clothing.

Point of Interest: Possessed pincushion.

Δ 18. Hollow tower
the start of the hollow tower, this construction will have no roof, i'm hoping about 5 or so z-levels up. I'm thinking of backing the left and right fortifications in by one to get a better angle (and make things look better, that wall just doesn't look right) - Qjet
Δ 17. Masons Guild
Out of necessity I had to form a guild of masons, before my clothiers guild, since I intend to build up and down. That's a giant rock stockpile accepting only chert. I only did this after I had a colossal wave of useless immigrants. - Qjet
Δ 17. Town Building Foundations
The central keep is not going to get any bigger. As a result of this decision the obvious next step is to sprawl outwards. This is a dwarven town however, so these buildings will be linked by underground tunnels naturally. - Qjet
Δ 16. Farming floor.
Sooner or later this will all be for farming. The layer below that will all be for storage, and the layer below that will all be for clothing workshops. - Qjet

Δ 14. A bit of a blemish
I had thought about just leaving the resource alone, then I thought to myself "but it's platinum! PLATINUM!"

So I'm gonna have some re-walling to do.

Also the iron is gonna be necessary. Since I plan to sprawl my fortress out, that means it's going to be completely open to attack, I will have to fight sieges head on, dwarves will need to be well trained, armed, and armored. - Qjet
