Granite Clasps - 1053 Late Spring by ColdSnickersBar

Map Description:

Went for a decorative moat. On the 3rd year here. 2 of my siege operators are legendary and also legendary at a second job as well, making them very quick to fire. Two more siege operators are legendary at a secondary job and are learning siege operating.

The idea with the front gate and the siege engines set back into the mountain is to have a central cannon of sorts that fires siege ammo right down the alley.

Point of Interest: Cannon

Three siege engines stacked right here fire continuously down the main hallway, or "kill alley". They're also flanked by two helping siege engines north and south of the entrance to give more spread to the kill zone. - ColdSnickersBar

Only a pretty awesome entrance?

With some improvement, it could easily rival the entrance of Copperblazes.

Very pretty entryway: it is definitely the standout-feature of your fortress :)

The entrance; it's got style and that's what counts :)

Excellent placement for the gladiator arena... are the crenulations to the north planned areas for prisoners?

No, actually. I filled those with light stone statues, inspired by the statues at the Colosseum in Rome.
