• Δ 98. Sacrifical tower of Armok

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  This tower has claimed the lives of nearly two hundred enemies. The chapel of at the lower level shakes with the shattering of the sacrifices impacts upon the ground. - Zaltanek

• Δ 62. Dwarven crane Goden
  Named after the master weaponsmith Goden, this crane aids in the construction of the war fleet. This crane is powered by windmill. - Zaltanek

• Δ 16. Outdoor Greenhouse

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  This outdoor greenhouse is under construction. The dwarves keep killing themselves under the sieges. Any time I let them outside my non military dwarves charge the siegers killing themselves 1 or two at a time. I am hoping this greenhouse will resolve that issue. Hopefull it will not damage the asthetics much as the hillock is one of my favorite points of the keep. - Zaltanek

  Here you can see the artificial lake that was constructed. The outer wall took a year to construct. The lake took 2 1/2 years to fill.

• ¶ 16. The warship Zefon
  The warship Zefon, named after the first late mayor. This state of the dwarven art warship is powered by two pumps. Hatches can be closed while the vessel is in port to prevent it from sinking. Powered by fine dwarven windmill engineering this vessel can turn quickly by deactivating either pump indepedantly.
  The armament will consist of one lower balista and one upper catapult. The ammuntion will be loaded up front to balance the engines in back.

• Δ 16. Tri-glass bridge
  Three retractable glass bridges allow access to the lake pump house. - Zaltanek
• Δ 15. Lake pumphouse

  These pumps move enough water to fill the lake in about 2 1/2 years. Due to loss of FPS I would not water to have to refill the lake. It is designed in case of emergencies to be drained. It has flood gates to the south with the chasm, hatches to the river by those levers to the west, and the drydock on the far west. - Zaltanek

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  This the nearly fully engraved barracks. Parts are sand so are unable to be engraved. Armor and weapon racks line the walls. Siege engine training is to the east. Archery ranges are to the north. The weapon and armor stock piles are also here. I may move them to a seperate armoury. - Zaltanek

• Δ 14. Trade depots

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  With the bridges and doors I should be able to close off each trade depot to alternate between them. Hopefully this will keep lazy dwarves from leaving all the goods at the depot.
  
  For some reason ogres keep sending trade representatives. The first few years they seiged me now they send caravans. I would rather they send the sieges. I checked the raw files and they are set as evil, so I am not sure what the deal is. - Zaltanek

• Δ 13. Dinning room, lake, and waterfall.

  This fully engraved centeral Dinning room was constructed over an artifical lake. The citizens can sit back and enjoy as the wildlife from the river above swims freely below them. A water fall to the east generates a fine mist for them to enjoy. Green glass windows give them a view to the water being pumped through the cascading water.

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  The Arena finished construction in late 208. The upper level was orignally all sand but has been tiled over for the dwarves comfort. The river 1z level above was drained and green glass floors were constructed. Sunlight can stream in from above filtered by the water of the brook. The upper level is for the peasants. The engraved middle level is for the nobles and legendary dwarves. In all around 70 seats are available.
  
  
  This has also been used as a silk factory as captured goblins are forced to fight GCS. Egress from the fighting pit is blocked by a retractable bridge. - Zaltanek

• Δ 12. Artificial internal lake
  This lake is fed by the river above. Pressure plates prevent a lake overflow. Floor hatches open to release the water to the cisterns below. There are typically fish swimming about. (luckly no carp.) - Zaltanek
• Δ 12. Food processing and storage

  Food and drink processing and storage. A powered mill is just below. The cloth processing is also here. This includes the cloth dyeing - Zaltanek

• Δ 12. Improved effeciency Stairs

  Previous to the construction of these stairs the only way up or down was through the temple or the long circular ramps. This was taking forever for the dwarves to dump items and greatly slowing down production. With the construction of these I have still noticed the dwarves will occationally use the circular ramps, so they were not a complete waste. I also like the design of the ramps. - Zaltanek

• Δ 12. Stables and butchery
  The stables and animal processing occurs here. The animals are segregated and chained to prevent FPS loss. The chains allow breeding to continue while the cages seem to prevent it. You can see a cat about to be butchered, cheers! - Zaltanek
• Δ 7. 178 Personal waterfalls- Commoner and Noble Housing

  The dwarves of Inkyconstructs are spoiled by falling to sleep to the sound of 178 personal waterfalls. Nearly every room was constructed with a waterfall for the dwarves happiness. Green glass windows seperate them from the plummeting water. The endless stream is controlled by 4 pump towers, 38 hatches, many floodgate, over 24 pumps, 1 pressure plate.
  
  The housing towers at the POI are the peasant quarters. The noble housing is south and to the west. - Zaltanek

• 7. Noble Housing

  Housing for the nobles. Each has his own study and dining room. Waterfalls will be completed when windows are in place. - Zaltanek

• Δ 5. Baron's room

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  This is the Baron's room. Fully engraved it also sports three gem glass windows to give the bedroom a little more privacy. The green glass windows in the back look out to his own personal waterfall. - Zaltanek

  Located opposite the Baron's room it also has gem glass windows as a divider. Its own waterfall is to the south. - Zaltanek

• Δ 5. Magma/water Tower

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  The magma/water tower has been constructed. It will eventually reach high into the sky. For now it reaches the surface. I had originally planned to have one power station that could supply to the entire tower. That hasn't worked out. Due to the nature of water wheels this station fluctuates from 400 power to 1000. Just the opperation of the water pumps requires 750 power, while both magma and water is 900ish power. If all the wheels turned this would not be an issue. To resolve the problem I will be constructing smaller stations to tie into the power grid. Wood is becoming as issue however. - Zaltanek

• Δ 2. Chapel of Armok complete with skulls

  The skulls of the fallen sacrifices dot the chamber. After impacting the the ground 1 z level below, the bodies explode sending body and blood throughout the chapel. The fully engraved chapel documents the trials and tribulations of the fortress. - Zaltanek

  These were used to create the hundreds of windows needed for the housing towers. - Zaltanek

• Δ 1. Lowest level of the housing water station

  ( 209 Early Spring to onwards )
  This is the lowest level of the water pumping station. Water from the artifical lake many z-levels above is pumped to the cistern here. The three power stations are then actives forthe 4pump towers. Each pump tower then raises the water 8 z levels. - Zaltanek
