Sn-nsmata - 1 Early Spring by Iituem

Map Description:

The Oracular World

This larger map is an experiment in developing an extended world geared towards adventuring. As it progresses, the number of visitable sites will increase until hopefully a diverse realm will become available for exploration.

Notes: A modified plant matgloss is used for this campaign setting to reduce the overwhelming power of farming.

Point of Interest: Kosothmidor

This is the ninth incarnation of Kosothmidor, a Mountainhome so notoriously perched upon a fault line that it has collapsed eight times in its history from earthquakes. An ingenious mechanism with moving counterweights and gargantuan greased rails has rendered the current fortress impervious to assault by the forces of the earth, though sadly not so to goblins. Rather proud of this, the dwarves here have taken to calling themselves "The Balanced Castle". - Iituem

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-04/iituem-oracularworldmap.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
