This is the second turn of Grizzlyoar. The place was a bit of a mess when I took over. Still not exactly great, but moving in the right direction, and no more worries of starvation any more!

Point of Interest: The Pile

Another legacy of my predecessor, a pile that's covered in... everything. Somebody will have to sort this mess out someday, but I just couldn't be bothered with it. Was too busy keeping everybody from starving! - Marko

The HTML5 map viewer is currently in Alpha mode - I'm actively trying to develop new functionality.

There should be many very obvious problems with the viewer; please check the Issues page to notify or comment on the most egregious problems to help me prioritise. The most common will be Loading... with an error in the browser developer tools console. e.g. RangeError: Offset is outside the bounds of the DataView. Feel free to report a problem with a link to the problematic map or point of interest.

Δ 23. Main Entrance

This is the main entrance to the fort. There's a refuse pile outside, and nothing really fancy at the moment. The path deeper into the fort passes a small training area for our meager army of 4 dwarfs. - Marko
Δ 22. The Junction

This is the main junction of the fortress. Left leads to crafters, right leads to the entrance, up leads to the abandoned housing area, and maybe some day future crafting stations, and down leads to living levels and farming areas - Marko
Δ 21. Crafting Stations

This is the meager crafting stations carved out by my predecessor. I decided to leave it be, since I was concentrating mostly on getting the food industry off the ground. - Marko
Δ 20. Marla

This is our bottomless pit, I've nicknamed Marla. She spews out a lot of cave spider silk even on the surface. Might consider walling it off and making a path to it so dwarves can collect silk and not worry about others collecting dwarves... - Marko

¶ 15. Dwarf Residence Level

This sprawling complex is the dwarf residence level. I left the kitchens and dining room area alone, but added a large food place for food storage and animal storage. Also added the dwarf apartments which go down for several floors, with lots of space for lots of dwarves. The top floor of the apartments is temporarily being used as furniture storage until everything is furnished. - Marko
Δ 14. Farms

This is the farming area of the fort, that will keep us running for quite some time. I expanded it a lot from what had previously been done. There are also clothing related workshops down here, which I suggest being moved in the future. I was going to build a pig tail economy, but realized there's plenty of cave spider silk around, so no need to waste time growing it when you have ample silk waiting to be woven into cloth! - Marko
Δ The Circle Tombs

Here are our lovely tombs. Circles around circles. I thought it was a nice feel, and a good change from the usual blocky nature of DF. It is situated right next to the bottom of the bottomless pit. Something to think about as you rest for eternity I suppose. - Marko
