In this fort I decided to experiment on using cast obsidian to build my fort. Hence the huge obsidian block.
However, after building that huge magma transfer system it seemed a waste to dismantle it. While I was building the tower I noticed that "my, pressurized magma sure travels fast" quickly followed by "OH GAWD PRESSURIZED MAGMA".
It kinda snowballed from there.
So may I present: The Dwarven Magma Cannon!
I confess that it currently has pretty pathetic range but it can unload huge amounts of magma near its target.
This effectively turns the entire magma pipe into an endless reservoir of magma. - Nahkh_

You need a magma moat. That'll stop those pesky wolves and trees! Also, the cannon is awe inspiring. I needs to be pressurized somehow.
