Another year passes in Clockworks. The fortress of Clockworks was inspired by my desire to create a different kind of fort. This one was built to limit the amount of random tunnels and constructions that destroy the natural beauty of the landscape.
You can see how the fort curves to fit the natural shape of this three-sided canyon. The western wall fits against the brook, and dwarves respect the mountains by refraining from hollowing out the surrounding landscape.
In the kingdom of Kadol Dural, the year is 178 and the King of Hatches has now held court in the mountainhome of Clockworks for a year.

This corral keeps our breeding livestock in place. Newborn animals are immediately sent to the cages located next to the kitchens and butcher's shops.
You might be able to see yellow tiles (for hay bales) and blue tiles (for a water trough) if the cows aren't standing on them. - Coaldiamond
