• 21. Mayor's Suite

  Towering 6 floors above the ground is the large circular Mayor's suite. With a large office lined with statues, it is a magnificent structure (and was a damn pain to build!) - Marko

• 19. Nobel Floor

  Five floors up in the Dwarf Apartment Building is the Nobles floor, with four large suites for the nobles of the fortress. - Marko

• 16. Ironheart Bridge

  ( 217 to onwards )
  Iron Heart Bridge allows for traffic passage over the river on the southern side of town. - Marko

• 16. Longbeard Street Bridge

  ( 217 to onwards )
  The Longbeard Street Bridge allows for traffic passage over the river on the northern side of town. - Marko

• 15. Animal Processing Plant

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  This is the animal processing plant. The messy and smelly job of the butcher is in a sealed well ventilated room. After an animal is butchered, it's skin can be transferred over to the tanner's shop to create leather. Workshops are set up to convert the generated bones and leather generated into useful goods. - Marko

• 15. Dwarf Apartments, ground floor.

  This is the lower level of the Dwarf Apartments, there are four floors with an identical layout of apartments for the working class dwarfs. - Marko

• 15. Graveyard

  ( 217 to onwards )
  This is the graveyard. Sadly most of the coffins are full of dwarves who dived in a never ending string of berserk dominoes. Lots of 'fun' indeed. - Marko

• 15. Kogan's Cookery

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  Kogan's Cookery, a large buffet restaurant which offers take out catering for nobles and soldiers. Their specialty is dwarven bread, Strawberry wine biscuits, and sausage in a bun. Indoor seating, as well as a covered patio overlooking the river for a pleasant outdoor dining experience. (Just ignore the hungry dwarf eating fish) - Marko

• Δ 15. Lumber Yard

  ( 221 Early Spring to onwards )
  This is the new Lumber yard, with large storage space for wood (currently depleted, used to increase our supply of bins) Workshop space for carpentry, craftdwarves, siege engineers, and bowyers is provided within the yard. It is located near the main entrance to allow quick unloading of any lumber cut outside of the fortress. - Marko

• 15. Main Street Tunnel

  Main Street dips under the river that cuts through the city with a wide tunnel. - Marko

• Δ 15. Metal Works

  ( 221 Early Spring to onwards )
  This is the city's metal works factory. Magma was pumped up to the surface from the magma pipe far below, and used to power several furnaces and forges. The multi-floor building has storage above and below for metal ores and goblin gear needing a quick melt down. - Marko

• 15. Olonardes Tavern

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  Home of our local brew master, the Olanardes Tavern is Roofdwelling's home for booze. With some pretty statues to look at, lots of drinks all around, and even a dart board (mainly used by the guards when they're bored). There is a basement underneath for more alcohol storage. A very important part of any Dwarven town. - Marko

  A zoomed out look at Roofdwelling from far away. Here you can see the large streets running through the city, and the river slicing the city in half. - Marko

• 15. Roofdwelling Farms

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  With an above ground and below ground strips of farm plots. The Farmers create a wide variety of plants year round to give the dwarves of the city a wide variety of food and materials to work with. At the moment the processing and milling facilities aren't used, but will be once the clothing industry is properly set up. - Marko

• 15. The Warehouse

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  Just off the Main street is the main storage warehouse of Roofdwelling. Many goods will be stored here. And if we need more space, we can always add more floors. The Trade depot is also located within the warehouse on the bottom floor, for easy access to trading goods. A large number of bins have been produced to help reduce the massive clutter that was plaguing the fortress a few years ago, however it will be a daunting task to move all the stuff strewn all over the place into the warehouse. - Marko

• 15. Waste Disposal

  ( 219 Mid Autumn to onwards )
  This is the waste disposal center for Roofdwelling. The large open pit falls several levels to magma waiting below to dispose of any waste quickly. Cages of any intruders caught in traps are moved here, where their inhabitants are pushed off the ledge and get to enjoy falling a long distance, than having a pool of hot magma break their fall. - Marko

• 15. Watch House

  ( 217 to onwards )
  This is the watch house, all traffic must flow through here to gain access to the rest of the city. Usually a few soldiers sparring on the lower level, who have 'fun' with any unfortunate kobolds that snuck past the outer traps. - Marko

• 8. Obsidian Factory

  ( 217 to onwards )
  This is the city's large obsidian factory, which produces 99% of the building material for the city up above. Magma is pumped in from the magma pipe to fill up the pit, then water is poured in from the river. - Marko
