Towerweak - 204 Mid Summer by Jurph

Map Description:

In mid-summer of 204, the dwarves of Towerweak finished construction of the Hammer Chamber. Certain that this would bring their settlement fame and fortune, they settled in to make enough food and booze for everyone.

Point of Interest: Grand Dining Room

This dining hall also has plenty of food storage and will eventually hold bedrooms for my lesser nobles. I'm also planning to add a giant banquet table down the middle of the room, but my mason is working overtime on new stone furniture. - Jurph

Suh weet. Dude, your layout rocks.

While at first glance this map appears to be a typical dwarven fortress under a vertical layout, the Hammer Chamber changes that. Oh yes. this place is different. And if you have glass, I advise draining enough of the pipe to install windows into the magma. Nothing says mastery over the rock and magma beneath yer feet like having windows into molten rock for no good reason.

Because that's what most people know of hammers.

Nice fort :)
