Liontower remains strong! 451 meals and it's not about to stop!

Legends will tell of us, brave disciples of our Supreme Benefactor, fed and kept appeased for the decades, the centuries, the millenia to come!

LIONTOWER NEVER DIES!

Cage Alley
Cage Alley & Entrance
Dastot Lisatzon's Very Modest Tomb (Top)
His Majesty Liontower, and His little brother, "Lion" Tower.
The Execution Platform
The Visage of Death Speeding Towards Your Face
The Ball
Rweotnoil's crash site

Shuri's Note: Liontower has, at last, retired at the peak of its glory, and after I pretty much accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish with it.

I envision an artistic representation of Liontower, the skyscraper-like building standing out in the distance, surrounded by stranger and ever crazier constructions, as if the presence of the fortress bent reality itself and invited aberrations of art and nature into the world. Lion faces everywhere, towers falling from the sky like meteors, moats filled with puke, dwarves who meditate to the smell of miasma coming from years upon years of accumulated gore and bones in a contaminated soup that lies at the bowels of the structure, the environment around it becoming ever more warped and deranged as the almighty Liontower is fed hundreds, thousands, millions of sacrifices...

Point of Interest: THIS IS LIONTOWER

wow... that is a tall, tall drop tower. At first I didn't notice the missing 30 floors, Thanks for saving us on that monotony.
Also what are those things at the top of "Cage Alley"?

Thirty layers of missing tower... you get to the top and it suddenly feels very very tall :) now where I have I read about that before...

Sorry for the double posting, but i was wondering something.
Can you traumatize your citizens, say a kid, by placing them beneath the sacrificial drop? Shaping their mental (well)being as it were?

Dakira: You're referring to the white things at each end? They're 1x2 drawbridges, which all raise towards the inside of the corridor.

This way, while the dorfs collect and replace cages from one, they are safe while the invaders go into another, freshly opened corridor.

You can download the compressed map file: 2009-01/shurikane-Salvesaves-region1-218-16021.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
