Massive construction projects continue. The Duke and Duchess are currently locked in their rooms because their insane demands have slain 6 of my dwarves to date.
4 masons starved to death on the northern trade depot access ramp because I didn't notice them. New burial plots are being built in various rooms.
Working on a very long magma pipe in the south end of the fortress to bring magma to the new glassworks in the southeast.
"Pimpy" The Duke and his annoying wife, "Whiny" The Bitch, have sentenced 6 dwarves to fatal hammerings over their supposed failure to meet their unrealistic production mandates (what the fuck does "item in dining room" mean, anyway?) and since about 5% of maps are likely to have even a single rock crystal, nobles asking for anything crystal glass is like the game engine saying "Ha ha, we're going to kill one of your dwarves."
Justice shall be done! I placed 3 caged goblins in the duke's room and 2 in the duchess' room, linked to a lever. Unfortunately I had already taken their equipment and thus they just got strangled to death by the statted-out nobles. Fortunately, the duke is hungry and dehydrated and the duchess is hiding in her personal tomb because one of her goblins is still out there...somewhere. See if you can spot him :) - Noble Digger

Looks like you could use some bins for your armory... :)

If you look up in the main yard there's an entire stockpile of bins and no more room--that's storing all the low quality iron armor and weapons in addition to crappy trade goods from goblins and such. :X

This fort is massive! It looks very... planned out and organized. Those imps look ready to take out the first legendary weaponsmith they see.

The funny part is that I don't plan my fortresses. I got really lucky that the new additions fit symmetrically on both sides of the for in almost every place.
I work a room at a time, making what I need at a given moment. Right now (I'm in year 206 or 207) I have so many construction projects going on that nothing is being completed, but rather being nudged closer to completion.
The hammerer killed 3 dwarves this year :|

How will anyone access your Road of White Shadow?
Also, your "Hot Tubes" have inspired me to make a future fortress with central heating curtousy of our favorite molten rock.

The Road of White Shadow will be flooded, and deep within the earth. It's not meant for travel, just to fool the king into thinking we have a valuable road. I also needed the stone and digging it out gave me quite a few mineral veins.
Stay tuned, I'm working on a highway to cut through the western mountains, removing all the ramps, and ensuring depot access on all approaches via a system of tunnels interconnected with ramps.
