More migrants in mid-spring bring the dwarf total up to 24.
Fey mood from a craftsdwarf mid-spring claimed the Glass Furnace (woot!) - Demanded 3 sets of Rough Gems and one set of metal bars. Without a smelter yet, and having had him seize the glass furnace the prospects did not look very good.
One set of rock blocks was comissioned to cater for the new glass furnace to try and churn out some rough green glass in case it counted... and another set was comissioned for the metalsmith's forge.
One set of silver bars were fashioned, and a green glass was churned out while other dwarves manafactured a road (and green glass bridge) over to 'civilisation'.
Fortunately, the green glass created was what the craftsworker was looking for... although he did require another few afterwards.
Alas, the silver bars were not what he was after... Copper bars have been scheduled urgently to stop the poor guy going crazy.
This is the glassworker we're desperately trying to stop going insane. - matryx

( 1053 Early Autumn to onwards )
Crop planting has started, and the installation of the green glass floodgates (which look way cooler than regular floodgates) has been finished. Final touches to the walls are being performed by the miner right now. - matryx
( 1054 Early Spring to onwards )
Engraved each year by a dedicated historian, these rooms will progress into the mountain as the fortress ages.
1053's showed images of squares, dwarves travelling, dwarves labouring, and several pictures of stars.
1054's showed dwarves talking, walking, travelling and one image of a dwarf withering away.
Also oddly was an image of a dwarf embracing two goblins...?? And the yearly submissive demon image. - matryx
