HIDDEN FUN STUFF? We can only hope! Do tell, is there any way this could be a bug? How did you find this?

As was discussed on the forums, this is actually a bug whereby a volcano and a bottomless pit combine.

I got this too on one of my maps. it cleaned out the pit pretty nicely except for an antman or two and a hidden giant cave spider.

Most awesome bug ever, Toady should leave it in and call it a feature.

The first time I ever started a fortress on a volcano, this happened. So I figured it ALWAYS happened. Now I'm kind of disappointed that it doesn't!

That is very odd because you see the lava is on a chasm... so naturally it would sink into the chasm and dissapear. This seems to have the opposite effect. Personally I haven't had this happen on my maps yet. I just don't know..

Problems?

Do you only see a blank space instead of a play button?
