"How To Catch Mermaids, for Fun and Profit"
A few other thoughts:
* If your map has waves (which this one does not), they'll make it harder to empty out the traps
* You might be able to entice them with just a single pit
* If they start running out of water, mermaids will climb out onto dry land.
* Mermaids can kill
* I made a few unrelated mods. The dwarfs don't need booze and produce a metric ton of children.
* The civilization is called, "The Nets of Doctrine".
