The quest for fresh gold veins continues, but without much success. It has also been decided that record rooms shall be constructed off the Hall of Founders, in which details of the events of the past year shall be engraved for posterity.

Hahah, yes, all the bridges and roads are made with 100% solid gold, silver, or platinum.
I actually think that I've exhausted all the gold veins between the chasm and magma river, except two that span both features.
Keeps my dwarves very happy.

Though I want to accomplish something with rare metals sometime soon, heh. I have a load of platinum and silver to use in my fortress. :P
