This is a small map for play with my very slow laptop. I set the immigration limit for 10 dwarves. The first immigration wave took the population number to 15, but after that further waves have obeyed the limit.
The fortress itself is supposed to be a "natural-looking" dwarven villa, where each dwarf has his own home, surrounded by their tools of the trade - so the farmer has a bed near the fields, the weaponsmith near the lava and forges, etc. I really like how it turned out, and once I finished the lodgings, I would have enough time to embellish the fortress...
If it were not for all those forgotten beasts!
A microline road leads to the small and secretive enclave of Diamondkeepers, where a select group of dwarves dwelve to hone their crafts. The trading depot is platinum, reinforcing the idea that the dwarves here don't have to worry anymore about the lower pursuits of live, and can dedicate themselves to the higher metallurgical arts. - Caranha

*cheers*
Now, funny thing. The fort has finally perished to a group of goblins who managed to sneak past the weapon traps before I finished training my new militia. So I took the chance to check Legends.
Guess what? Cilob is not listed as being killed by the Lava Man, but as being killed by one of the forgotten beasts he killed two years earlier.
Now, that particular Forgotten Beast had some sort of frozen breath, and hit Cilob quite a few times with it, for no effect. I wonder if the heat from the fire man melted the breath, and it finally did whatever nasty thing it would do to a dwarf.

I bet he never complained about the cold throughout his body, since it probably kept his Tuber Beer icy during those two years, before facing the fire.
