Too... much... gold... ? Or brass? Its very yellow, and that's a lot of bridges! I think I'd be blinded attending a meal in your dining room.

Hahah, yes, all the bridges and roads are made with 100% solid gold, silver, or platinum.

I actually think that I've exhausted all the gold veins between the chasm and magma river, except two that span both features.

Keeps my dwarves very happy.

Now this is a true dwarf fortress! I bow to you!

Though I want to accomplish something with rare metals sometime soon, heh. I have a load of platinum and silver to use in my fortress. :P

Although the sheriff demanded that we must make provisions to punish errant dwarves, we have yet had occasion to make use of the facilities. The gleaming gold chains and fine wooden beds sit waiting to comfort those to be subject to harsh, dwarven law and the whims of the fickle nobles. - Oneiros
Δ Statue Garden and Pond

A spacious courtyard with fine statues of gleaming platinum provides a welcome place of relaxation for the dwarves, as well as a location for numerous, boisterous parties. A small pond has been excavated and filled in the center of the room: to be filled with live fish and lobsters caught from the cave river. - Oneiros
