I was so focused on making the walls, creating an army, and digging out some workspaces that I completely missed the part where they all ran out of booze. One miner is hurt somehow, and he can't get any water because the water source is contaminated. So everybody is drinking out of the stream.
Hopefully I will have some booze and some wells sorted before the next post. I really don't want to lose that legendary miner.
I want to get 4 projects done before next Spring.
1) Sort some food stockpiles so that there is a visible indication of booze running low.
2) Mine out a spot for some wells. I could probably do it so that it's symmetrical and good-looking at the same time.
3) Mine out and designate a hospital.
4) Get a few bedrooms built.

This is the first thing that the merchants see of Oilweavers, and the last thing that enemies see. The hilarity of watching an entire goblin siege fall 12 z-levels without even bothering the populace is incomparable. If they approach too fast (or if they are too light, like foxes) the weapon traps do the rest of the cleanup. - ClsfdKidd

but you will need the .NET version of
