Redpages - 1051 Early Spring by FunkyWaltDogg

Map Description:

The world I generated to get this site was made with lots of rivers, and with erosion cycles turned down to 80 (from 250) and Periodically Erode Extreme Cliffs disabled. What I wanted was a setup where the entrance to my fort would be in the side of a river canyon.

This is what the site looked like at embark. The fort was started under version 31.03.

The aqueduct is cool, not seen one of those in a while :)

Thanks! Since these shots were taken, I've constructed a "dwarfduct" in close to the same position on the fortress levels so that I can go mining on the west side, and hopefully find a decent supply of an ore of something other than silver.

You can download the compressed map file: 2010-04/funkywaltdogg-Redpages the Bloody -region1-1051-4.fdf-map but you will need the .NET version of SL's DF Map Compressor to convert to the .PNG image format.
