This here is the barely mitigated chaos of Abbeysands in its sixth year. This is my first really working fort in .31, and my third overall. It has survived mob rule (aka the untimely death of the expedition leader), several ambushes, two megabeast attacks, and now its first seige.
Currently suffering from overambitious plans and a literal plethora of stuff.

This is the central courtyard of the fort. It is at the bottom of a four-story terraced greenhouse. Used to serve as the trade depot, now serves as a totally sweet sculpture garden. - warng1286

As a heads up about the changing floors - there was a weird bug that changed layers based on ones they passed through; ie. water that passed safely through salt aquifer levels became salty and so on. Somewhat random, though. Collapsing the full wall might work, but if it doesn't, that'd be the explanation.
